Picnic Day Tomorrow!

Hello All! Tomorrow is our Picnic Day. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will walk to Haley Park (Behind the Museum of the Southwest) for fun and lunch. We will leave school at 9:30 to head to the park and will enjoy the day there until around 12:00 p.m. Parents are more than welcome to come so long as they walk with the students to the park or meet us there. Students are not able to ride to the park with parents or ride back home with them. All students must go to and from the park as a class for safety and keeping track of all our students. If you would like to check your child out for the day following Picnic Day, you may. Please just meet us back at school and sign them out in the office. Students must have a signed permission form by a parent and be in school uniform (but may bring a cap to wear for the sun). Please have them bring a sack lunch (unless they ordered from the Sanchez Family) and a water bottle with their name on it. If you would like to bring them lunch, that is fine as well. We will eat around 11:00 a.m. Haley Park is a new venue for us as our "go-to" Dennis the Menace Park is closed for renovations. The park has limited equipment, but a vast space. Please feel free to bring playground equipment to play with. Don't forget to apply some sunscreen before school! Thank you all so much and we're looking forward to tomorrow!
