Physical vs. Chemical Changes

Our last unit in Science had to deal with the many elements that we have and how they are combined to make substances we use everyday. We concluded observing how chemical compounds can become altered during a chemical change. I am so proud of how the kids did with this unit. Their assessments were very impressive! We are beginning our study of Physical Changes this week. Here is a little preview of the difference between Physical and Chemical Changes.

CAUTION: Jokes Ahead

We learned about Atoms and Molecules of Elements and Compounds. Our first Compound was H20. Many got the joke after the lesson. :)
